Using the Media Module

The media Module is where you’ll store all of your images and video in Governor. The Media Module is contextualized to each Site, so you won’t have cross pollution of media files. To access your Media Module, click on “Manage Site” from the Sites index page, then click on “Modules” from the left navigation bar. Click “Media” on the ensuing menu. You’ll see three options: Galleries, Settings, and Module Info.

Galleries

All of your uploaded media files will be stored in Galleries, much like folders on your computer. This way, you can keep all of your Site’s media assets organized on Governor and accessible to any of your content creators at any time.

To access your Galleries, click on “Galleries” from the left side navigation bar. You’ll see a grid of thumbnails that represent all of your existing galleries. To add a New Gallery, click “Add New” in the top right corner.

When you click “Add New” to add a new gallery, you will be asked to give your new gallery a name. Type in the gallery name and click the green check mark. Your new gallery will be added to the grid of galleries. Now it’s time to add some images to your gallery.

You then have a choice to either drag and drop your image files into the designated area, or browse for your files and choose them from your computer. You may upload multiple image files at the same time. Once you’ve added all of your photos, click “Upload”.

You can edit an image at any time by clicking the “Edit” button in the top right corner of the image. On the edit screen, you can manage the following:
